Meet the CellhireUSA Team!

After spending six years as a sales director at AT&T in Chicago, I joined Cellhire in 2004. Eleven years ago, I relocated to Texas to assume the role of CEO for Cellhire USA responsible for Sales and Operations in North America.

What I appreciate most about our business is the speed at which the cellular marketplace changes. Twenty years ago, our value was providing cost-effective voice calls to business clients when traveling abroad. Today our focus is providing data for IoT, eSIM, or physical sim anywhere in the world. We have a great team of experts looking to be challenged by our client’s business communications projects. Outside of the office I love spending time with my grandchildren, playing guitar and recreating my favorite Chicago Style Pizza.

As Director of Sales Kirk brings 20 + years’ experience in the telecommunications industry, collaborating with clients and his team to strategically deliver solutions that meet their business initiatives. When he is not with the Cellhire team he is spending time with his family.

As a Corporate Account Executive, Vernon is responsible for acquiring business by identifying new markets and companies from existing markets, developing revenue from existing accounts through effective account management. This also includes effectively managing corporate and government accounts. In his free time Vernon likes to fire up the smoker and indulge in some good old Texas BBQ.

Ta’Trianna has been with Cellhire for over two years successfully networking, supporting clients, and creating customized solutions to meet our clients needs in her role as a Sales Associate. Over the past year Ta’Trianna has been collaborating with our UK office to assist with marketing initiatives by developing marketing strategies and ad campaigns. Outside of work, Ta’Trianna enjoys cooking, reading, and working out.

Kristi joined the Cellhire team in 2005. She is the Financial Controller for the business and also oversees other areas including Client Services, HR, and Event Management. Kristi excels at helping our customers with the requirements needed to fit their business needs for billing, reporting, and more.

As a mother of two, she spends her free time immersed in their activities like band and horseback riding.

I Started at Cellhire USA on November 3, 2003, as collector for Government, Corporate and Media. I was moved into the Credit manager position in 2005 and remained in that position until 2010. I then became a part- time collector / billing for Government, Corporate and Media and any other accounting functions as needed. I have been through three moves with Cellhire since I started and all have, though not planned have been on my birthday.

A little info about me personally, I will be 82 in January (I do not think there is a move in the works.) I have three children, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great-great granddaughters. This is what keeps me going and on my toes.

I love working here and I hope to work for many more years.

John joined the Cellhire team in 2001, managing the partnership between Cellhire USA and AT&T Global Roaming Services. The program provided GSM handsets, which were sent to the customers in conjunction with an accompanying SIM card, which was shipped to them from AT&T. John spent the next 24 years shepherding Cellhire through scores of advancements in technology and the resulting shifts in customer requirements.

In his free time John takes advantage of the outdoors. He and his wife enjoy camping and hiking, and he is an avid cyclist … activities which allow him to take advantage of Cellhire’s growing satellite portfolio!

As the spirited manager of our fleet team since 2022 , Tre brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to every task. Overseeing the seamless receiving and dispatching of device rentals, ensuring every client receives top-quality service. His expertise keeps the wheels turning smoothly, his fleet team is responsibilities for cleaning and testing equipment with precision.

Ray Makasi has been an integral part of Cellhire USA since 2011, serving as an Airtime Coordinator and contributing to the organization's growth by managing day-to-day airtime operations, technical support, optimizing cost efficiency, and supporting large-scale events.

Recently, Ray expanded his role by stepping into IT security and mobile device management (MDM). As a IT Security & MDM Specialist, he collaborates with the IT team to enhance network security, respond to cyber threats, and manage devices.

Thomas has been with the company since 2009, and currently serves as Operations Coordinator for the Fleet Department. Thomas handles the ins and outs of the company’s device rentals, checking for missing or damaged parts, and cleaning up the accessory kits to make them ready for rental again. Thomas is knowledgeable in the intricacies of the common shipping companies, and his extensive background in graphic arts is put to good use in designing some of the company’s marketing materials and user guides.
